Ryan K. Geddie
Ryan K. Geddie has experience in a wide variety of civil litigation. Mr. Geddie's trial and arbitration practice includes railroad (FELA) litigation, commercial disputes (including construction), investment fiduciary litigation, personal injury/wrongful death, oil and gas litigation, collections, and probate contests.
Prior to law school, Mr. Geddie worked as an institutional broker for one of the nation's largest money management firms and as a benefits consultant for a large HR outsourcing company. Mr. Geddie held Series 6, 7, and 63 securities broker licenses.
Mr. Geddie is a member of the Texas Bar (Litigation and Insurance sections), the American Bar Association (Litigation section), the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association (Litigation and Construction Law sections), the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, and the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel.
Mr. Geddie is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. He received his bachelor's degree from The University of North Texas in Political Science and his law degree from the Texas Wesleyan School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Geddie served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Honor Society, was a member of the National Moot Court team, The Texas Moot Court Championship team, and a quarterfinalist at the Rendigs National Product Liability Moot Court Competition. He also was named to the Order of Barristers.
